LOU ~ SALON OWNER
Lou is trained in London and in 1997 was sponsored to come to Australia as the Art Director for Toni&Guy Brisbane and travelled as a hairdressing educator for Toni&Guy, KMS and L’Oreal. Educating in South Africa, Brazil, USA and Asia. Lou was the Finalist Queensland L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2018 + 2019 and has also won the Sunshine Coast Business Woman of the Year and Queensland Training Awards Best Small Business of the Year. Lou started the salon to build an Award Salon Experience to create hair to match YOUR face shape, skin tone and lifestyle. Lou always wanted a non-pretentious salon without ego – only great hair. Lou loves training her team and watching them grow as hair stylists and people.
JENNIFER ~ SENIOR STYLIST
Jennifer is a Scottish trained Senior Stylist and owned a hair salon in Scotland for 12 years.
Jennifer loves everything hair and is a great communicator. She loves to listen to and create what her guests want. Jennifer loves precision cutting and creating amazing shapes in short hair.
She loves braiding and creating upstyles on long hair. She loves to work with everyone and train our team and share her knowledge.
Jennifer is an exceptional hair stylist with a can-do attitude. Ask her about her mean haggis and tatties 🙂
LEXI ~ STYLIST
Lexi has been at Surrender Dorothy for 4 years. She represents Surrender Dorothy styling hair for the In Noosa Magazine and various photo shoots all over the coast.
Lexi is specialises in formal long hair, balayage and blondes. She loves to create upstyles and copy a pinterest image you like.
Loves rock music, KISS and has an eclectic taste in music. This make her a broad and interesting conversationalist – just ask 🙂
Lexi has an eye for detail, is a perfectionist plus she can fix your plumbing and your car.
JULIA ~ EMERGING STYLIST
Julia is a friendly, funny emerging stylist. Julia regularly attends training courses in Brisbane and in-salon to grow her skills to share with you. Julia loves Balayage, long haircuts and foils.
She is our in-house make-up artist and is the salon expert on Napoleon Perdis, available in Salon.
Julia is growing her hair so understands when you say “only a trim”. She is a team player and loves to share ideas.
Julia is a fantastic listener and would love to look after you.
LILY ~ 1ST YEAR APPRENTICE
Lily specialises in AGI ONE – our in salon smoothing treatment. Lily is an intelligent, bubbly person whose enthusiasm is infectious.
Lily is brilliant at head massages and loves to share them with our guests.
Lily will also give you a complimentary hand massage during a colour.
Loves London and travelling – she always has a story to share.
